My main strengths with my project were completing primary research with a focus group to help with my final product. Another strength was my final product itself as it showed my skill level and also my video production skill which was done to make sure it was easy to follow for a younger audience.
However, some of the weaknesses were the planning month buy month as I had 2 other creative coursework based subjects to maintain so I was constantly trying to find time to manage my project but I got there in the end. Another weakness is that I didn't find out as much detail about SFX in film and television as I would have liked which was one of my career goals if teaching didn't become successful, but focusing on youtube was best for my projects end goal.
Some skills I learnt were video production using photoshop and premiere pro. My own skills in SFX Makeup improved and has made me more confident in creating more looks in the future. I also learnt how to be confident in large groups of people and eleven a good powerpoint on my chosen project.
Throughout my project, I learned that I was very driven and continued to push through even though things outside of school were challenging and difficult for me. I continued to research and put to together a project that I am happy to say I am proud of so I would say I have learned that I am more driven and able to persevere better than I thought I was able to.
My final project was created to be used as a primary school based activity which has helped towards me future goals of wanting to be a primary teacher. I can potentially use this as an activity in the classroom in the future and see how the children cope. I think it would be a really nice lesson and a way to encourage more creative and different subjects that aren pushed in schools as much as they used to be.
If I was to do the project again, I would definitely make am more detailed plan of what I was going to do each month and made sure I stuck to it so I could make the project the best I would, I would keep the end result the same as I felt it was very effective yet easy for a younger audience (a line down the face and blend it out essentially is all it is). Overall, I am happy with the outcome and feel that it has made me more confident in my own work and myself when talking to large groups of people.
